Well I had several wounds on my abdomen that I didn’t get medical
attention for. “I can treat it myself, I’ll take salt baths and put
hydrogen peroxide on it,” I thought. Well I am a complete moron, the
infection got out of control. I drove myself to the hospital. When they looked at my wounds they could not believe I had let things
go so far. I had to immediately go into surgery so they could cut out
the infected area. They then informed me that I was a diabetic which
explained why I wouldn’t heal properly. So now I am connected to a
wound vac with tubes coming out of me. I now have to stay home for a
couple of months while I heal, just because I was a stupid, stubborn
man.
