Poor Eeyore. Everyone forgot his birthday in the Pooh stories. However, Eeyore’s Birthday has Austin to thank for the 42nd Annual Eeyore’s Birthday Party and many more. Pease Park will be flooded with costumed Old School Hippies, Nuevo Hippies & Cyber Hippies. Of course, its free, including the shuttle bus. If you haven’t been to Eeyore’s Birthday before, he’s a sneak peek from the 2001 party.

Tonight is the night. The Mavericks face the Rockets in game 2 of their playoff series. Dirk needs to pick up the pace a bit to match McGrady’s intensity. This is Dallas’ best chance ever to win the whole thing. But first, please get past round 1. I expect Avery to whip these guys into shape. Don’t miss the action, the game starts at 8:30pm CST from Dallas.

Sonja’s Dad Spits on Fonda!

Wonder Showzen

I now have a new favorite show, which means they will take it off the air. Wonder Showzen on MTV2. What a great Sesame Street satire, the comedy is abrasive and rude as hell. Anyone who grew up watching Sesame Street and Electric Company in the 70′s and 80′s will love the way they have kept the original style of the puppets. The animated segments are excellent, all created by Augenblick Studios who have really gone out of their way to keep that old style. The content will knock your block off. They are really pushing the envelope with risky and hilarious imagination. I kept saying “I can’t believe that just happened on TV.”
However, to begin the show they say if you let children watch the show you are a bad parent or gardian. Good stuff. The NY Times has a review worth reading.
